Thousands of GlasGLOW Zombie Zoo tickets snapped up within minutes

Thousands of GlasGLOW Zombie Zoo tickets were snapped up within minutes of going on sale this morning, with peak slots already starting to sell out. 

GlasGLOW, now in its ninth year, will run over 16th of October – 1st November, marking the first time the show has ever started during the October school holidays. 

Tickets are on sale now exclusively at glasglow.com with discounted earlybird tickets available for a limited time.  

Halloween fans of all ages are being invited to meet Zombie Zoo’s rare and misunderstood residents in an unforgettable 60-minute outdoor adventure featuring decontamination tunnels, live feeding demonstrations, dead-friendly zombies and more. 

Oli Norman, CEO of itison and founder of GlasGLOW said: “As a dad of three, we’re always looking for things to do over the school holidays and are delighted that GlasGLOW is starting mid-October this year giving more families the chance to come along . It’s going to be an incredible show.

“By 7:35am this morning we’d already sold thousands of tickets with peak slots starting to sell out so if you’re planning to come along, get in quick to bag best price early bird tickets.”  

Early bird ticket prices  

  • Off peak adult: £24 (usually £26)  
  • Peak adult: £26 (usually £28)  
  • Off peak child: £13 (usually £14)  
  • Peak child: £17 (usually £19)  
  • Off peak family: £70 (usually £76)*  
  • Peak family: £86 (usually £94)*  
  • Under 3s go free

All you need to know about GlasGLOW 2026

  • Zombie Zoo is a spectacular new theme for the ninth year of GlasGLOW, Scotland’s biggest Halloween event  
  • GlasGLOW Zombie Zoo will be open from 16th October – 1st November with time slots every 15 minutes from opening 
  • There will be no direct contact between zombies and visitors during the event – the welfare of our zombies, and guests, is our priority at all times   
  • GlasGLOW Zombie Zoo is family friendly and suitable for all ages  

Food and drink  

  • GlasGLOW’s street food village will be back for 2026 welcoming gourmet favourites like Loop and Scoop, Dirty Bird, Mangiamo and Hector and Harriet to the Botanics plus GlasGLOW’s first ever Zombie Bar.  
  • The magical Marshmallowland will also be back giving visitors the chance to toast mallows under the stars and get the perfect selfie against the fairylit backdrop.   

Twilight tickets  

  • New for this year – GlasGLOW is introducing Twilight tickets which allow visitors to start their adventure when its daylight and watch GlasGLOW transform as it gets dark – perfect for families with younger kids.  

Fast Pass & Mallow tickets   

  • Upgraded Fast Pass & Mallow tickets will also be back this year offering access to a dedicated entrance plus a campfire classic marshmallow skewer and queue hops straight into the show’s legendary Marshmallowland.   

ASN Sessions  

  • itison aims to make GlasGLOW as accessible and inclusive as possible, with Relaxed ASN sessions on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th October at 5:30pm which will allow visitors to enjoy a quieter experience with a lower capacity.  
  • Changing place toilets from Pamiloo will also be available on those dates.  
  • GLOW passes and Sensory Guides will also be available to help visitors who may need extra time, space or information in advance to prepare for the event in addition to a quiet space on-site for anyone who should need it.  

The itison Pumpkin Fund   

  • The itison Pumpkin Fund is the heart and soul of GlasGLOW and having raised over £100,000 for charities, groups and schools around the Botanic Gardens to date, will return in 2026 raising funds for amazing local causes.  
  • So far through the itison Pumpkin Fund, more than 10,000 tickets have been donated and thousands of pumpkins to help as many people as possible to enjoy GlasGLOW.  

GlasGLOW is created and produced by Glasgow-based company itison together with a world class team of sound, light and set designers to bring light to the darker months and create magical experiences in the heart of the west end.   

The show brings together amazing immersive sound and light displays, incredible photo opportunities, a gourmet street food village, unforgettable interactive moments and the chance to toast mallows under the stars in Marshmallowland to create an incredible outdoor adventure inherently routed in Glasgow culture.   

Now coming into its ninth year, GlasGLOW is the biggest Halloween event in the UK creating 150 event sector jobs and a multi-million pound impact on the local economy.
