A new Bourbon bar and restaurant will open at The Gallowgate. Van Winkle is expected to be ready to join the neighbourhood next month. The latest venue will be directly across from the Barrowland Ballroom and close to local trailblazers St Luke’s on Bain Street and A’Challtainn Fish Restaurant and Bar at the Calton Entry to the Barras.
Other new additions to this part of town that have recently been announced include a micro-brewery by BrewDog and another bar and restaurant development next down to the Barrowland.
Van Winkle aims to have the largest selection of Bourbon in Glasgow when they open. You can also expect stone-baked pizzas, American barbecue food and burgers.
