Lewis Capaldi has been making unannounced appearances across the city to promote his new single Forget Me. The Bathgate singer, now living in the west end, arrived at The Rum Shack open mic night on the Southside around 10pm on Wednesday night. The regular music night is called Once Upon A Time In The South, there was an audience of around 30 people. Lewis played his new single Forget Me, left some money behind the bar for everyone and disappeared into the night. This fly-by gig was in addition to the other pop-ups he completed this week – the open mic at Box on Sauchiehall Street on Tuesday, a surprise visit to see students on the music course he took at New College Lanarkshire in Motherwell and an afternoon busking on Buchanan Street.
