With a welcome break from the bad weather brought by Storm Desmond, Glasgow’s Santa Dash 2015 was a huge success today with a record 6000 participants dressed as Santa Claus running the 5k festive race.
The fun run took off from George Square at 10am this morning providing a colourful scene for early-rising Christmas shoppers in the city centre and raising funds for the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice Brick By Brick Appeal.
The Santa Dash has raised more than £100,000 for charity since it began in 2006.
