We usually roll our eyes when a Glasgow restaurant jumps on an American food trend. However, you can count us in for Bottomless Brunch. Particularly when it’s served at Shawlands finest, Black Dove. The event on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th February is the first of its kind on the Southside.
Here’s what you can expect.
Prosecco corks start popping at 11am. Each course is accompanied by a choice of bottomless glasses of sparkling wine, Black Dove lager, or the Brunch Punch. There will be plenty of coffee.
When it comes to the main event, there are an impressive selection of brunch plates to enjoy. Pick from the baked eggs with slow braised Ox Cheek with Cavolo Nero and Peppercorn Sauce, or the stack of French Toast, with Crab and Greek Yoghurt.
Maybe the bacon and maple syrup. Or a Full Scottish fry up with smoked haricot beans. Or the cheesy chorizo omelette with a side of haggis. The sharing menu allows you to dive right in.
Look for Bellinis and Bloody Marys, cold pressed juices and milkshakes.
The Black Dove Bottomless Brunch costs £27.50 per person, and runs on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th February from 11 am to 3 pm.
